Concept Inventory and Teaching GIS
A team of us in Maine are starting to work on a GIS education concept inventory, as a prelude to measuring student concepual understanding in GIS courses. At present we're working on the first draft of the survey instrument, and we'd be very interested in talking to anyone who is exploring this set of ideas, or who'd like to discuss the matter. We'll be getting together for a discussion at the AAG meeting next week in Las Vegas. If anyone would care to join us at 12 noon on March 26th at Kady's restaurant, we'd be very interested to include you in the conversation. If you can't make the meeting, please contact me through this board or by email.
